Reflections Program
What is Reflections?
Participating in the National PTA Reflections Program is a chance for Wicoff students to explore their creativity, gain recognition, and express themselves through the arts. For over 50 years, this program has fostered an appreciation for the arts, allowing students to unleash their talents, think critically, and experience the joy of artistic expression. This year’s theme, “Accepting Imperfection,” encourages participants to celebrate flaws as part of their unique story.

Why Participate?
The Reflections program offers students the opportunity to:
-
Unleash their creative talents and be inspired.
-
Express themselves imaginatively through artwork.
-
Experience the joy and fun of making art.
-
Tap into critical thinking to create art inspired by the theme.
-
Receive positive recognition for their original works.

2025-2026 Theme – “I Belong”
This year's theme is “I Belong!”, which invites students to explore what it means to feel included, valued, and connected. Belonging can happen in many places: at school, in a family, on a team, with friends, or in a community. It is not about being the same as others but about being accepted for who you are. Through art, students can share experiences of connection or exclusion, express the emotions tied to belonging, and show how differences make communities stronger. This theme encourages kids to think about the groups they are part of, celebrate the support those communities provide, and use creativity to express how belonging shapes their lives.
